Mabadiliko CIC is currently working with service providers in South London to understand marginalised and/or minoritised community groups’ experiences with health and wellbeing services, and how to tailor these based on residents’ needs.We are currently seeking to recruit participants to two community research studies taking place in March - please see details below - and are reaching out to organisations, community members and service users who may be interested in sharing their experiences. Shaping the National Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP)
Mabadiliko CIC is working with service providers in South London and the National Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP), to understand marginalised and/or minoritised community groups’ experiences with diabetes services, and how to tailor these based on residents’ needs.We would like to hear from people with lived experience of diabetes (directly / someone in your home / a family member or loved one that you care for), and who identify as either of the following:
of South Asian, Black Caribbean or Black African heritage;
a speaker of Portuguese or Spanish as your native language.
We will be running a series of 2 x 2hr focus groups in March with one of Mabadiliko's culturally-sensitive interviewers.As a token of appreciation for participating, individuals will receive compensation of up to £40 per focus group.
