We are proud to be sponsoring the Simba Cricket club again for 2025. They are a friendly, sociable and inclusive cricket club who have been going for over 40 years and are now onto generation 2 and 3 of original members. Team sports are a great way to stay social, as well as good for your mental and physical health.
ABOUT THE CLUB
From around April each year onwards, the Simba Cricket Club fields 2 teams on Saturdays in the Kent Cricket League. The 1st XI plays in Tier 1 - Division 4 and the 2nd XI plays in Tier 4 - Division11 (Underwood).
On Sundays we aim to play friendlies and cup matches (competition), mainly against local teams in a more social setting, encouraging youngsters and those requiring a more leisurely level of cricket to take part. We are fostering links with the local communities to encourage the enjoyment of cricket, both competitive and social and is actively looking for players to join us to enjoy the comraderies within the club and take the opportunity to 'shine with bat and ball'.
