It was a great celebration of all the community groups, who through their hard work and dedication partnered with NHS throughout the Lewisham borough on the back of the BLACHIR report to gather information and get more people who would not normally access the GP, into testing and conversations around health.
There were numerous events, workshops, group discussions, therapies, webinars, seminars and 121's which took place as well as testing for HIV, liver function, diabetes, high blood pressure and more across the borough.
We are proud to have been a part of this project in partnership with Lewisham council and the NHS. We would like to thank Dr Ama (Jenner practice) and her team in particular for partnering with us to get health messages out to the local community. Also thanks to Bellingham and South Lewisham GP practices for your support.
Of course, a big thank you also to our CEO, Naomi and the whole team of therapists, counsellors, administrators, back office, receptionists, volunteers and Community Champions. It also would not be the same without the founder, Devon, who many of you know across the borough. He has worked tirelessly over the years to champion complementary health to work alongside the amazing work the GP's and hospitals already do.
We look forward to continuing the long term relationships with all we have worked with throughout the last two years and beyond.
